Early Life and Passion in Haiti:
Born amidst the vibrant streets of Cayes, Haiti, I, Venard, always harbored a deep passion for the art of hairstyling. From a young age, I envisioned making my mark in the world of beauty. As a child, I transformed my family’s home into an impromptu salon, where I honed my skills and expressed my artistic flair. The dream of becoming a successful hairstylist and making it to America was born, and I tirelessly perfected my craft.
A Bold Leap to Boston:
In 2012, fueled by the pursuit of the American dream, I made a bold decision to leave Haiti and venture to Boston, Massachusetts. Armed with determination and a suitcase filled with dreams, I arrived in a new land, facing challenges like language barriers and cultural differences.
Mastering the Craft:
Despite the hurdles, I persevered, taking on odd jobs and immersing myself in local salons to hone my hairstyling skills. As a master stylist with diverse industry experience, I navigated the path to success, driven by a relentless pursuit of my passion.
Entrepreneurial Triumph:
In 2016, I took a leap of faith and opened “Beauty by Venard,” a salon that quickly became a local sensation. Known not just for haircuts but for providing an immersive experience, my salon gained recognition in the neighborhood.
Inspiration and Empowerment:
Hairstyling, for me, is more than a profession—it’s my purpose. Each day at the salon, I infuse passion and creativity, transforming clients both externally and internally. Beyond my clientele, I am deeply committed to empowering fellow immigrants and aspiring stylists.
